A buddy of mine that owns a Goldwing and I decided to take a country ride and visit some small towns in Michigan I have never seen before. We hit Fowler, Pewamo, Westphalia, Muir and Lyons. We then had lunch in Portland. I saw a very nice town with well maintained homes with nice yards and landscaping. I saw small towns in run down shape. Saw a huge dairy farm operation (smell was not pleasant) and a large saw mill operation ( smelled wonderful). A nice sunny day in the 70's and overall a wonderful ride!

Sounds like you had a very nice ride!

I love the small town life. No traffic to deal with and the scenery can be intoxicating.

Too bad you didn't take any pics bro! Maybe next time?

Sounds awesome, I love the variety of landscapes we have in Michigan.
Yes. We really do have beautiful country here. I often like to cruise around looking for lakes.
