Hi everyone, would any of you be able to post pics of factory windshield mounting hardware on their bike? I have a windshield that I want to put on my 03 800 Classic. I need to make brackets to mount it and would like to see what the factory ones look like. Thanks Scott.

The windshield mounts screw on the top of the bottom plate and underneath the top plate of the triple tree. Hope this helps .

I’ve got a 2002 with the original windshield. Where did you get the plastic for it ?
Was it exactly the same as original drill holes and all ? Mine is in really bad shape and and needs replaced.

Pop, I removed windshield and used headlight cleaner and then plastic polish. I did each several times. It is still a bit blurry but heaps better than it was.
Any plastics company will cut you a new replica windshield. I'd go for polycarbonate.
