I have read about EPA equipment removal. Can anyone explain how this cools down pipes. From what I read using recycled exhaust gas decreases temperature in cylinders by lowering the O2 concentration creating a decreased combustion. Reading from RW site this also fixes popping caused deceleration, will this fix popping from pipes from acceleration after a debaffle? Or will a lollipop mod be a better fix?

It is not an egr system like in a car. Under coasting conditioms, fresh filtered air is admitted into the exhaust to allow the hot unburnt fuel to burn more completely. This will make it leaner/hotter. Also the explosion is happening in the pipes so it is loud. Stock mufflers limit the noise.

By removing/disabling the system you are letting hot, unburnt gas and other incomplete combustion compounds escape the tailpipe without reburn.

Thanks for the clarification. Definitely looking to do this modification soon. If this mod makes the mixture leaner, has anyone experienced and issues because the 800 is a lean running machine? Was a rejet/ fuel mixture scree adjustment needed?

The mod makes it leaner under coasting (no throttle, above idle) conditions so no rejet is needed. It is recommended to adjust the idle mixture screw regardless of if you are doing the epa delete or not.
