Good Evening,

I have been having an issue with installing a Cobra light bar on my '13 Classic LT. I tried the instructions that came with the light bar, but the "quick connect" that I used could not keep a solid connection to the hot wire. In addition, something else went wrong and it blew the 10A fuse for my tail light. I thought I have seen some solutions on this forum, but I was unable to find it this evening. I'd like to "hard wire" it into something that is a little better, but I'm unsure what that might be. Any suggestions? I have read on the Internet about using a relay, but I'm unsure how that would be done.

Any help appreciated...thanks in advance!

Probably best for Wrench Heads...

Under the seat there is a 4-wire plug that has another dealie plugged-in to it with a YELLOW pigtail coming off. You can get switched 12V source from the brown wire there to "pull down" a relay. This Thread has an excellent tutorial with a lot of pictures.
