Just had two bad experiences and a good one trying to get my KVS keys duplicated. I tried two different ebay sellers who claimed they could duplicate keys by code. Both sent me multiple keys which did not work (one of them did end up working for the fuel cap and seat compartment, but not for the ignition).

I finally tried this 3rd seller, who sent me 2 keys for the code I sent him ($30), both worked perfectly.

I sawed the head off one and created this key mod (multiple colors of key heads available on ebay and Ali Express):

Key duplication

I just had an experience with getting a new key for a Yamaha 125 scooter, which is 19 years old. The original key had been damaged beyond usability, but I could still read the code. I contacted a locksmith at a nearby full service hardware store and he stated he could produce new keys from the code. Sure enough they worked flawlessly. :)
