I went to get new tires today and the stock tire on my 900 is a 180/70/15. Dude at the shop says he can't get that size in a Dunlop. I looked online and I can't find that size in their catalogue either. He wound up ordering a 170/80/15 for the rear. Anybody know if/why Dunlop quit making that size cruiser rear tire?

My 2012 came stock with the dunlops, just purchased two months ago, was the shop a kawasaki dealer? Metezlers are used by alot of riders and even recommended in our owners manual, they make a 180/70/15....ride safe...

The 170/80 is a nice improvement over the stock Dunlop. Paired with a 34tooth front pulley, it will reduce the rpm's and make for a more comfortable ride.

Thanks for the info. It was not a kawi dealer, but he recommended the dunlops over the shinkos I was gonna get. I'll burn this set up and look at the metzlers next tire change. Might not be keeping this bike very long so I didn't want to plunk down too much for tires.
