Just don't blow any water where is shouldn't go! Seems like every few months someone posts that their bike won't start or they are blowing fuses after washing with a hose or pressure washer and/or dried with a blower.
Dab burn it I thought I had a brilliant idea. Yeah I'm very carefulJust don't blow any water where is shouldn't go! Seems like every few months someone posts that their bike won't start or they are blowing fuses after washing with a hose or pressure washer and/or dried with a blower.

I would think pressure washing would be more of a culprit than using a blower for drying.Just don't blow any water where is shouldn't go! The problem is that people use blowers from all angles. Riding in the rain has wind forcing water in from fewer directions. I have seen people have some issues when the bike was just sitting uncovered in blowing rain. The only rain electrical issue I've ever had was the cruise control on the Voyager or the turn signals on my old Honda Sabre not working until the switches dried out.I would think pressure washing would be more of a culprit than using a blower for drying.
If riding in the rain and wind blowing your bike dry while riding was a real issue, I think we would all be in trouble
Personally I would never use a pressure washer on my bike. Not even the ones at the car wash.
