Well my ECU should be back from Ivans Thursday . I already have my BAK from Chucksters on and my Kuryakyn grips modded by RacnRay.. the vance and hines slip ons should be here Thursday as well !!! I cant wait to ride this thing (2011 Voyager) !! I was ready to trade it because it was such a dog... Thanks to all that have posted about the flash and mods. I'm ready to love my Voyager again !! :grin2:
We'll see soon !!! I also ordered the braided tank bib from sagebrush with the pocket and concho. and a new clearview shield to try out. I'm looking for some Bluetooth suggestions and help, but I will do a search here before asking questions.

Any review of this combo of mods? Did it make a significant difference in seat-of-the-pants feel? Any differences in MPG's? Any extra noise from the air filter? Which Chucksters option did you go with (open or the one that uses stock cover)?

Thanks for any and all info. Really interested in how it turned out!

I have a few thousand miles on my bike with the same mods. Only difference on mine is that I have a roaring toyz air intake.

I can say that it made a big difference. More power all around, but very noticeable in 6th gear. My gas mileage went up from 32ish to about 38. There is a lot more noise coming from my intake.

I did all 3 over 10K miles ago and the performance increase is very good. The only downside (for me) is a slight loss in bottom end torque. It'll still putt along at 1500 rpms but it's a lot happier at 2500 rpms. I like it better with drilled stock exhaust (all 6 baffles and cats). Doesn't sound as good as with the V&H but drivability is better in the idle - 4500 rpms range.

With Ivans, Air kit and V&H the power from 3000 to 6000 rpms is very impressive. It'll redline real quick in 1st and 2nd gears. Be ready to shift, unless you like hearing it bounce on the rev limiter. LOL It's a real blast to rip thru the gears with other big V-twins, and walk away from most of them. :)

With Ivans, Air kit and drilled stock exhaust the power from 1500 to 4500 rpms is very impressive. It'll still redline and bounce on the limiter but it'll take a little longer to get there. It'll putt along at 1500 rpms all day, happily. I like this setup for touring and carrying a load.

I've swapped back and forth between the V&H and drill stock at least 3 times each, with the same results.

After the mods I went from 43mpg to 41mpg. That loss is probably due to more aggressive throttle twisting. LOL
