I called every damned manufacturer to find out. Kawasaki customer service was the fastest and nicest of the bunch actually! Thought this video might come in helpful.
Certainly they would like you to believe that as then they'd get at least some of the action. But, it's not true; at least not in the USA where we have the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.I spoke with my dealer and the only reason they gave me that adding aftermarket parts would void the warranty would be if a Kawasaki certified mechanic didn't do the work.
