Hi all,
Has anyone ever debaffled the stock pipes on their Vulcan 900's?
I bought my bike used with 3700 miles, and they already came debaffled.
I love the sound and have no complaints.
Curious to how they compare to V&H or Cobras...
Question...Could this create an issue with the air/fuel mix or any other problems?

Thanks!

As long as you are running the stock air cleaner you will be ok. Plus the debaffled pipes should still have the catalyst in place. When I had my 900 I ran a cobra intake and cobra dragster exhaust, I also ran a power commander 5. The dragsters were really loud (which I loved), and with the power commander and the air cleaner the power was much improved.

When I got my 9 first thing I did was a stage 1 debaffle. Sound was good. I installed the Cobra Power Flo air scoop. Then I needed a tunner. Decided I wanted more sound so I put the Barons Big and Nasty on. Huge difference in sound. Very happy.
