Another forum I'm on has a thread where you post your rides, pictures, videos, what have you so I thought I'd start one here. There's no specific parameters like length or reason. If you take a spin around town to try out those new pipes, or if you go on a day trip for a few hundred miles, post here and share your ride with others. I'll start it off.

Met up with Tylernol, another forum member from here in town and we went on a 9 hour ride on a mission to get something my wife wanted. She has a thing for cheesy little knick-knacks and saw this advertised at a chain of discount stores:

242799

Like I said, cheesy. The problem is that none of the stores in town had one and the nearest one that did was almost 2 hours away. Well, she does let me ride when I want, plus it was a nice day and I was looking for an excuse to go riding so I met up with Tylernol and off we went in search of the elusive tiki.

Of course, we took the scenic route and 3 hours later we found it in Fredericton NB. We stopped for lunch, then carried on back home - also taking a much more scenic route. After a stop to admire Mr Potato,

242800

we toured through Fundy National Park along some nice roads with several scenic vistas.

242801

A half hour from home one of the cheap driving lights I got last summer fell off so I just cut the wires.

242802

Got the part ordered to repair the original turn signal bar so hopefully I'll have that in a day or two.

Overall it was a great day. Made a new friend and got some great riding in. Hope to see more people add their own adventures to this thread!

Was a great ride on some amazing roads. The wild flowers were in full bloom. Sun was out the entire day with most of day in upper 80s. Thanks Olaf for finding the route and leading the way.
I have some videos that I'll post after I get home tomorrow or maybe Mon.

Well, I'm finally getting my Nomad out of the garage today for a ride. I'll be leading a group of 8 others through the Hill Country, winding up at Vista Brewery in Driftwood for lunch. Today should be a great day with highs in the 70's, sunny and hardly any humidity. No promise on pictures, but I'll try to remember!!!!

Morning y'all. We slept in a bit. Check out not till 11am. Currently 48 but will be in mid 60s when we leave. Carla wants to take a longer way home so we'll have about a three hour trip thru back roads. Hopefully everyone enjoys the second half of the weekend.

Here's the video I shot over the weekend. Warning, it's long. Alot was trimmed due to sun busts making video unwatchable. It turned out to one of the best riding adventures Carla and I have ever had.

And my Relive video on our way home.

@CarGuy lead a great ride through the hill country yesterday, and with a great group of riders too. The wife went along and though she does not enjoy the larger group rides yet she did love the route. I did not take any pictures, shame on me. I am going to have to put a camera on the bike very soon.

Also, ready for the ride next Saturday to the Texas 2023 Meet and Greet.

It's been a good riding month for me. With @bikerbill coming to meet I'm trying for a strong second place. I'm over 1300 miles for the month already and figure another 1k plus this week.

Heck, I was just planning on following you! That looks like the most logical route and works for me. There's some pretty riding up around Marble Falls and Burnet. It'll be good to see BikerBill again . I guess since @bikerbill is staying with you it means you won the "Best Place to Stay" award!

Nah @CarGuy. His place is more convenient to me. :)

Sorry.

My friend from Iowa came in today. After riding 1200 miles on back roads over the last two days he wanted to go for a ride today. So took him for a short ride this afternoon.

Was definitely a great day riding with my Iowa buddy. We got a little damp, but neither of us melted. Hats off to Brad, for his first time on these roads, he kept a very respectful pace. He got to ride some very different terrain. We're doing the ride up to Kerrville on 16 tomorrow, stopping by Stonehenge then down 39. I didn't start the Relive video until we had been on the road for a bit, so it's about 50 miles short.

Had a great ride today with two friends on Harleys. One was riding a Street Glide and the other was on a Street Bob.

Met up with the 1st friend in Catlettsburg KY. Rode down to Louisa KY to meet the 2nd friend.

From there we let my Louisa friend take us on a route to the south that went through Inez, a stop in a location with wild horses where we got to see 5 very healthy and beautiful horses roaming free. They did not mind us at all. We continued on to Prestonsburg and got a burger at Dairy Cheer. The onion rings were great. Continued back north to Paintsville where we headed northwest to Sandy Hook. From there it was a short ride to Grayson and a hop back to Ashland.

I was able to listen to music for most of the trip through the adapter I purchased through Vulcantunes and the Bluetooth adapter I purchased through Amazon. Other members on this forum recommended the items I am using and I am very grateful to them. You can view that thread here: Searched Forum and am more confused than ever. Need...

I did lose music when my phone lost service.

We stopped a few times along the way and had a good conversation with a rider that is still riding his Harley at 79 and going strong. He had a tale for everything!

Good times!

Just completed the last footage of Brad's, friend from Iowa, video taken last Thursday. It was raining off and on and a lot of footage had water spray. But here's some decent footage. For those who know the area, this is on 16 from Medina to Kerrville.

Had a great ride today to get pie. A tad over 200 miles for pie seems right. @CarGuy, you know exactly where I went.

Here's the Relive.

Was a great ride except the last 5 miles when I tried to outrun the rain and hail store, which I failed. On my road to my cabin, there's no where to pull over to wait it out. On a positive note, found out trike does well in a flash flood. I got off the trike, walked up on porch and filmed this. Look at the water runoff that I zoomed in on. If you ever wondered where I got the nickname "Loose Nut", this video might help explain.

A ride downtown yesterday with my service dog in the passenger seat. I had to pull over at the beginning and tell her to stop pawing me from her motorcycle pet carrier.

Fun fact about my service dog: her dad was my first service dog, her mom was my second. Her mom is retired with me (There's a long story.) Her mom rode about 10,000 miles with me on my Honda Nighthawk 750 in N. California, between Redwood Valley/Ukiah and the bay/San Francisco, and between California and New Mexico.

Stay Alert! You can see the car cut into my lane at around 5:03. They illegally crossed ART (Albuquerque Rapid Transit) bus lanes and used an emergency only crossover to do it. I saw it play out before it happened.

Finally! Rendering and posting videos. Last Saturday I took a nice ride around the Sandias and the Monzanos, and my camera worked the whole time.

Ride through and around the Sandia and the Monzano Mountains.

This is part 1. Leaving Albuquerque on Route 66, turning right on 337 East, beautiful mountain roads.

Next video(s) this weekend. I'm planning to ride round trip to/from Bosque Del Apache this weekend.
Good Morning Everyone! Hopefully this crazy weather will cease for awhiile. Another strong round of thunderstorms yesterday evening brought lots of rain, but no hail fortunately. @Lesblank , gotta love their pie! I'm not a cloud expert, but here's a couple of pics of the sky last evening after the rains blew through. Strange and scary looking, for sure!
