Hi guys, I'm looking for change both tires of my vn500 mod 2003 and I found in the manual that the recomended sizes of tires are 100/90-19 for the front tire and 140/90-15 for the back tire.

My doubt is do you know if it's recommended/possible to use a wider tire?

I had a 170/80-15 on my ‘97 5000LTD once because it was free to me. The brake torque arm clearance was close but it didn’t rub.

Going with 110/90-19 on the front helps correct the speedometer error.

I currently have a 110 front and it looks better IMHO.
