has anyone swapped the custom front headlight and bars on a classic?

when I decided on a Vulcan 900 I knew I wanted the classic because of the looks, wheels, paint scheme etc.. only thing I thought looked cooler on my friends 900 custom was the smaller headlight and the drag looking bars. also my arms a little long for the stock bar position. if I had a backrest they would be good probably but leaning up and forward a little puts them a little close. its comfortable but doesn't quite feel as right as the custom bars.

I think the bars from the Custom are a direct swap to the Classic.Hopefully someone else will chime in.

The classic has risers attached to the triple tree. The Custom just has the bars directly mounted to the triple tree, IIRC. You'd just have to take the risers and bars off and attach the custom bars on. You could also keep the risers and just get a zero-rise drag bar that fits. Bars should be 1" in diameter.

isn't the rake of the TT for the Custom a little shallower?

I think the classic and custom are the same bike with only different bolt on parts . that would make the most sense for Kawasaki too
