Crash bars for Vulcan S

I have been searching online for Vulcan S crash bars... The ones I found are 1" to 1.25" diameter, or 25 mm. I could not find info on the thickness of the metal online, except for the Puig (.083"). Prices go from $135 up to $330.

Motorgenic: $165

R&G: $330

Waase: $156

Ebay (Chinese?): $135

Puig: $222

Have any of you fitted any of these bars?

I have the Chinese one installed, they fit fine and seem sterdy enough.
Thanks! Nice to know, especially I am always worried about buying Chinese stuff.
I bought the Puig ones from Revzilla (based on suggestions from other riders here on the forums) and they fit well.
Thanks... I just ordered the Puig bars from Revzilla.
Puig very happy with them.
I got the Puig crash bars, but I wasn't told that I would have to change the extended peg position to the normal position. If I had known I wouldn't have done it. But it ended up feeling comfortable and is why I left it as it is right now.

Please know that the only crash bars that will work with the Vulcan S in the extended reach foot peg position are R&G. The others aren't compatible.

Almost learned this the hard way.

BTW, I have R&G on mine and love them. Great quality, fit and finish, install easy, work well and look great. Also have the matching highways pegs.

Hepco & Becker for me
My first choice, but they won't fit the bike with the pegs in the extended reach position.

Hepco & Becker make incredible quality stuff - German company.

I wouldn't say the only ones.
Mine do.
I have the RG Extension kit on aswell which puts them another 2" forward.

Hey Cpt; do your feet hit those at all when you're shifting or braking? I like the price and the look of those.

Good information to know. Which ones do you have on your bike?

Not at all. There's a good front view on their website.

I have basically new R&G for sale if anyone is interested. $250
I installed the Puig crash bars this morning. The paper instructions are clear, but I really liked the Puig installation video I found online. The Puig bars seem very well made. The only thing I don't like is that when the bike is on the side stand with the handlebars fully to the left, my light bar comes in contact with the crash bar. Not by much, but probably enough to mar the finish of the crash bar over time.
Reduced Reach

Hey.. all..

So i have the Vulcan S, but with the reduced reach configuration.. will the Puig crash bars won't work for this config? Anyone care to share some pics of your crash bars installed?

Thanks in advance!
I have the reduced reach set up, and the Puig bars work fine with this configuration.
I am 5'2" and Everything except the bars are reduced reach. Hell even the sidewalk is too tall
