I have the Chinese one installed, they fit fine and seem sterdy enough.I have been searching online for Vulcan S crash bars... The ones I found are 1" to 1.25" diameter, or 25 mm. I could not find info on the thickness of the metal online, except for the Puig (.083"). Prices go from $135 up to $330.
Motorgenic: $165
R&G: $330
Waase: $156
Ebay (Chinese?): $135
Puig: $222
Have any of you fitted any of these bars?
Please know that the only crash bars that will work with the Vulcan S in the extended reach foot peg position are R&G. The others aren't compatible.Thanks... I just ordered the Puig bars from Revzilla.
My first choice, but they won't fit the bike with the pegs in the extended reach position.Hepco & Becker for me
I wouldn't say the only ones. Please know that the only crash bars that will work with the Vulcan S in the extended reach foot peg position are R&G. The others aren't compatible.
Almost learned this the hard way.
BTW, I have R&G on mine and love them. Great quality, fit and finish, install easy, work well and look great. Also have the matching highways pegs.
Hey Cpt; do your feet hit those at all when you're shifting or braking? I like the price and the look of those.I wouldn't say the only ones.
Mine do.
I have the RG Extension kit on aswell which puts them another 2" forward.
