Hi guys, my cylinder base gasket is weeping, is this something I can fix with chemlweld? And if not is it going to be a drama to replace gasket? Thanks Nathan

If you have to replace the gasket, then yes, there will be lots of drama. Before tearing down, I'd be sure that leak isn't occurring somewhere else and migrating to the base gasket area. These bikes are known for coolant leaks from the hoses between the cylinders (easily fixed - although they can be challenging to get to - by tightening the hose clamps).

replace the gasket, don't use the weld stuff that makes a mess and will only mask the real problem, by the way your coolant looks too thick, are you adding water to it? just straight coolant is not recommended, use a 50/50 mix
