OK Fellow Vulcaners,

I did something I don't normally do. Make note of how cables, hose, wires, etc are running before removing them. Changing the coolant yesterday on a '09 Nomad and the over flow tank looked a little cruddy so the easiest way was to pull it to the side and rinse it out with water and reinstall. Yup the overflow hose has to come with it. Sure, I COULD have disconnected it but didn't think of that. I know it runs back towards the rear, but don't see an obvious routing path. I wouldn't think it should just hang over the tire under the rear fender since antifreeze could get slippery if it did by chance overheat and blow out the hose. Nor does hanging over the drive belt seem like a good idea.

I thought the same thing but there really isn't any other place for it to go because of how long it is. It just runs down the side of rear fender under chrome trim.
