Stupid question here. I know my VN2000 is long overdue for a flush, maintenance, etc. Because of this self brought on paranoia, I think the bike is too hot when I park it. And it ain't summer weather either.

Lets say the reserve-over flow is empty, and lets say the radiator is missing some fluid for some reason. Would just filling up the over flow make the bike draw fluid into its radiator? I wouldn't think so. I think one would have to remove the tank and fill the cap hidden there.

Anyone done a full flush, and was it difficult? I breifly read the manual, and I swear it wanted repeated fill & flushes. I thought you'd have to keep hooking up the tank again and again. Sounded like air cooled V-twin are superior here. :)
