I changed the coolant yesterday and that went fine BUT ... now it runs "rough" and doesn't always start !! I will check it out tomorrow morning. I assume I yanked a wire or pinched a hose but the problem seems to be electrical.

I didn't pull the tank ... I simply removed the two 12mm bolts under the front of the seat which allowed me to move the tank enough to get to the radiator cap.

Geez o pete !!! This is the first problem I've had with it since I bought it new in 2010. (2009 Custom LT). It has about 9500 miles on it.

Any thoughts?

Check your plug wires...they can get stretched when the tank moves back and lose connection. Also any other connections of wires under the tank. I did the same thing and it was a loose plug wire.

fixed

Turns out that the wire to the rear cylinder plug got pulled out when I lifted that tank to move it to allow access to the radiator cap. I didn't realize I raised it that far but obviously I did.

Whewwwwww ...
