My Clymer manual seems to be decent on pictures. Not amazing, but enough that I can usually tell what's going on. I got mine pretty cheap on ebay.

Looking for a good service manual that offers great pictures? Mainly because I have some wiring issues on the front end that, dare I say forget, where they go...Its a 1996 Vulcan 1500L C3 shaft driven. Thanks!

I've found my Clymer to be adequate as well.
My Clymer was OK I thought, until I bought the actual shop manual, pics are much clearer and better quality. I kept my Clymer though, so it is the one with the greasy fingerprints on it.
