I hadn't ridden my 1600 for a couple of months when I decided to go for a spin. I put it in gear, hand brake depressed as always, and had no clutch. It lurched forward then died. I bled the fluid lines but it didn't help.
Any ideas?

Clutch plates are stuck from sitting. My 1500 will do that too if it sits. It will come out of it after a couple tries though. If you can't get yours to free up, try putting your wheel against a solid wall and give it the gas. SOLID WALL

It does sound like a stuck clutch. The easy way to unstick it is with bike in neutral close and release your clutch several times. This will free it up to engage properly.
