My bike has developed a noise in the clutch area of the motorcycle. With the bike in neutral,it sounds like a(clacking sound) The best way that I can describe it. When I pull the clutch in it goes away.THe beast only has 5,300 miles on it. I do have the service manual for the bike. Before I start pulling the covers off can anyone give me any advice on what the problem may be. THANKS 3XMALCOL:

Clutch noise

I stored my bike last winter and when I fired it up first thing this spring it clacked and banged away too. It did it for a couple of days and then went away. I thought that it might have been some crappy sludge trapped in between the plates or on the main trannie shaft that just grabbed enough traction to pull on the gears a bit. Does the noise go away when you pull the bike up off the stand, or when it gets to full temp?
