I am just finishing cleaning my carbs and when I looked at the book and any diagrams I can find the spring in the choke is in a different location than mine was when I took it apart. The
diagram shows the spring in the inside of the carb but on my bike they were on the outside between the lines and c-clip. Which it's correct?

Thanks for any insight.

The location I found them in seems to be correct. Perhaps the carb kits come with a longer spring that will work in the location shown.

Carb cleaned and runs great but now it's hard starting. Even after running I have to leave the petcock on prime for several minute before it will start. Do I need to look into a carb kit?
