I have an '09 900 Classic and from the factory the speedometer always read with a 10% error as clocked by local law enforcement pace vehicles and by radar. At 60 on the speedometer the actual speed was only 54.

I recently changed to Shinko tires with a 170/80 rear tire. I ran through the radar again twice to check the speedometer now 60 on the dial is 58 actual which is an error of just over 3%.

They only draw back I have found is my gas mileage seem to drop. Then I realized that it read 10% higher before the tire change because of the speedometer error, now it is closer to correct.

I'm also using dyna-beads with no wheel weights and the front end shimmy is gone.

Glad to hear the review of the dyna-beads.....I plan on changing my tires myself this next go around and plan on using the beads to balance the wheel. IMO, it is the best way to keep the wheel balanced, as it goes out of balance with normal wear or panic stops....
