I have a Vulcan Classic 1700 2011 and was wondering how hard it is to install new shocks...Is it as easy as pulling off the old ones and installing the new ones...Seems almost to easy and I think I might be missing something...

You will need to lift and support the bike so the rear wheel off the floor, and best to have a floor jack under the rear tire to raise/lower the wheel to align the shock over the studs. The muffler may need to be removed.
If you are installing new Kawasaki shocks then you should be able to do one at a time, if aftermarket shocks then both need to be removed first then the new ones installed as the length may be different.

Not sure on the Classics, but on the Voyagers you need to at least loosen the chrome trim on the fender, I prefer to just remove it rather than risk cracking it by pulling it out enough.
