I have a 2011 vaquero and when I take the key out and the bike is off, there is a continued buzzing noise coming from under the tank....seems to stop when I rock bike back and forth, then restarts....could it be stuck fuel pump relay?

No that's pressure inside the tank venting.
Next time you hear it just insert your key and pop the gas cap and it will be gone.
Or at lease until the pressure builds up again from a hot engine.

Like David suggests, a lot of tank caps howl out of the pressure relief vent. Mine in fairly loud..... everyone notices it. Sounds like a bee singing an "E" note....

hello Bernie, what you are hearing is your gear driven throttle butterfly motor cycling through its shut down check. This is normal and is of no concern.Have a good night.

The throttle cycle only lasts about 2 1/2 seconds on my 1700. He did not mention how long it lasts...

So you are saying it makes the noise for longer than 2 1/2 seconds????

Did you pop the gas cap to see if it stops????
