Brake light won't turn off. Not the switches.

Hey guys, I'm at a lost and need a little help on my 98 800B. My brake light won't turn off. I swapped out my driving and headlight for LEDs and thought I'd go ahead and do the tail, too. I noticed that a bulb was out... Well, ok...gonna change that anyway. I did use the good bulb on both sides to make sure the socket was good. It lit up on both sides. Kinda figured it wouldn't really do that, but maybe it needed both bulbs for a load...? Anyhoo, I swapped out the rear with LEDs. Both lights stay on all the time. It's not the switches. I've checked them both. Went ahead and adjusted the pedal switch while I was at it. I do have a repair manual. I've got 12VDC at both the BL/R and R at the plug going into the rear fender when the ignition is in the ON position and only on the red when in PARK. Other than the switches and fuse, I'm really not sure what else it could be. Maybe the ignition switch...? Doesn't seem likely though.

Sidenote... I have added extra electrical stuff over time... LED drving and headlights, LEDs all around, and dual, dual Wolo trumpet horns (LOUD). In all my checks, I have all wiring to those items removed, except the headlight of course.

Also, with the plug removed, are the red and blue wires supposed to be shorted? I wouldn't think they would from the diagram, but they are only shorted when I put a bulb into either socket.

I just checked the plug again. I BL/R and R are shorted when the ignition is ON and not when in park. Seems to me that one of the bulbs should be out when in park, but as I mentioned before, the red and blue on the rear harness is shorted as well making both bulbs light up.

Yeah, I'm a dumbass lol. Both red and blue short together with a bulb in because both are positive and touch when bulb is applied.

So now the only thing I can think of is the ignition. I'm really hoping it's something else. Sfair, where are you my good man? lol

with leds evreywhere, its possible you have a back feed through them as they offer almost no resistance electrically. Fit diodes to each circuit
i had a problem with my tailights i bottomed the rear tire into the fender it rubbed the coating off the wiring harness and all bare wires were touching together
