So it's Fathers Day, the weather is awesome and the wife had plans to get the kids out all day so I could take a ride. Plan was to take a 30 mile ride to visit my dads grave. Dad died at the end of April, first Fathers Day without him.

Yesterday I tried to start it but the battery was dead. I hadn't ridden in over a week and I know I'm having battery issues, so not completely unexpected. Plugged it into my battery tender yesterday.

Today the Tender light is green so I'm good to go. Unplug, try to start and the oh-so-familiar click of a bad battery. Finally dead.

Bought a new one but not till 11:00. It's now 2:30, it's still not charged and I only have about 1.5 hours till the fam has something planned for me.

No ride today. Gotta say I'm jealous of all the bikes cruising up Meacham Rd right now. Mines just waiting for the light to turn green.

Sorry to hear about your father, my condolences.

Hopefully that battery gets charged up quick so you can ride! At least your not stuck at work today like me!
