If I may suggest, the OEM bars from the classic will give you a similar look and possibly better fit? Personally I don't think those bars "go" with the custom but to each their own.

My only knowledge on that is that I have seen 2 bikes on here I think with 10" rise that did not need cable extensions. Everyone else needed longer lines. If I were doing Apes, I would get the ones I wanted, and if I needed longer cables I would take the opportunity to upgrade to steel braded brake lines. You wouldn't believe the difference.
