I just replace front pulley with great results, higwayspeed feels very good and I want more... But, I have read lots problems like noise, excesive wear problems. I wonder how many of you have had a 100% success pulley replacement. Since rear pulley it is expensive, I want to guess chances of failture and see if I it worth the mod.
My impressions surfing the forum, it seems that almost all users had failture.
Please comment any toughts.
Thanks

I've had the rear pulley on my Custom for over 10,000km. I had a wee bit of squeaking and chirping for the first bit, but all is well now. You have to make sure you have at least 8~10mm of belt deflection in the belt, not 1.5~4mm as called for in the manual.

I have the Barons rear pulley in black.

I did both with no problems. You do need to throttle a little more at take offs but you get used to it. I had mine put on at the last tire change so the mechanic did it. They only charged me 40 bucks to do it so it was worth ME not doing it. Much better on the highway. Short trips in town I pretty much stay in third and fourth gear.
