I purchased the Alpine KTP 445U amp and I'm going to wire it this weekend.

Does anyone have a diagram for speakers and all connections?

I plan on added an amp as well. I was wondering if its possible to get the Kawi wiring harness clamps, so that it could be plug n play.

only plug and play amp I know of is the Hogtunes $$$$

Plenty of write ups on amp installs mostly Rockford Fosgate or the Clarion.
Clarion works great fits in the fairing well.

I wrote the Clarion install up in finite detail. (Voyager perspective)
Einstein and others did Rockford.

I know others have done the Alpine (it was on my short list) but I don't now of any install
write up...

My original wiring map.. which if you look closely may be screwed up.
I woould find wires and verify before actually cutting things..
I soldered everything...

Head unit to Clarion High band input (verify as your results may be different)

Clarion High band outputs to Head unit to.. I think this was speakers..... Don't remember now... again Verify!

Not all that hard but tedious and you want to be sure your wiring is correct before applying power.

I take it that the easiest thing to do is match the connectors going to the speakers and wire those to the amp input?

Then match the output to the speakers to the other side of the connector?

Seems simple. Is there something I'm missing?

INTO The AMP-

Head unit speaker output to amp input- all channel
Switched +12VDC power to Amp switched +12VDC in
Direct 12V+ power from battery to Amp (if it has it) I always put a fuse in line...
Ground input to AMP Ground.

Speaker output from AMP to speakers

Need to cross amd and speaker color codes.
Watch the + and - and speaker location.

Again, Take your time.....

Questions you can call... me just send a PM and I'll responde with cell.

WOW.... The install was actually quick and easy once I thought about it. Thank you all for the help!!!

I am blown away by the improvement of sound. I use Spotify on my iPod, my issue with the stock setup is that the volume wasn't loud enough. The volume wouldn't get any louder past 11. Now, OMG, 5 is amazing. The quality of the sound is 1000% better.

While I was working on the bike, I used my stock windshield to extent the Klockwerks windshield.

Sunday = good day
