Not sure how many spots are still open but if you are in the SoCal region you might want to drop them an email and see if you can get in.
I'm traveling over from Phoenix for it and some people from other forums will be attending also.

All 1700 Voyager and Vaquero Owners Pay Heed!! KMC is having a kind of meet and greet and "let's talk about your bike" kind of gathering at their place in Irvine, CA. Read on and follow the instructions if you can be there.............

**************************************************************
Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Voyager and Vulcan Vaquero Owners:

We invite you to join us at Kawasaki Motors Corp USA in Irvine, CA on Saturday , August 4, 2012, for lunch and discussion with Kawasaki Staff !

Kawasaki would like to visit with a small group of Vulcan 1700 Voyager owners in the morning from 9am to 12 noon, and Vulcan 1700 Vaquero owners from 1pm to 4pm. A delicious BBQ lunch will be served for everyone from noon to 1PM, and you are invited to ride your bike to meet with factory representatives who want to get to know you face to face, and better understand how you got involved with motorcycles, with Kawasaki, how you came to own a 1700 Voyager or 1700 Vaquero, and your thoughts on any motorcycle related topic of concern to you.

Refreshments, Lunch , and Tours of the Kawasaki Heritage Hall Museum will be available for participants. Please send us an e-mail so that we can reserve a spot for you as we have to limit attendance so that we can have a high quality 2-way discussion. Participation will be filled based on receipt of your e-mail, so you want to come, don't delay in letting us know!

RSVP to [email protected] .

In your e-mail make sure to include rider and passenger's name ( if you ride with a passenger they are welcome to attend!), model you own, and your e-mail contact information. We will respond with a confirmation within 48 hours with event details and directions to our headquarters.

Thank you in advance for your interest and support of Kawasaki...Let The Good Times Roll!

I think that's exactly what they do want to hear, otherwise they wouldn't have issued the invitation.

They need to have one on the east coast also. I'd like to see it at the beach in South Carolina but I would ride to Atlanta, GA also for a meeting like that.

They would if they asked me. I'm very happy with my Voyager. It's not perfect, I've owned dozens of bikes and none of them were, but it performs it's intended task extremely well and was by far the best bang for the buck.

I'd love to attend, too bad it's too far. I agree that they should have one on the east coast as well, and possibly at events such as Bike Week.

Maybe a few select spots around the good old USA? North, south, east and west this way more of us could give our 2 cents. Maybe if they have a huge response they might expand it to other parts of the country. Who knows but I like the idea.

Another plug for a sit down on the east coast as well. I'd ride a couple hundred miles to meet up but the left coast is a bit far on such short notice. :p

The wife and I had a great trip, 908 miles door to door. Great seeing some old friends and meeting some forum friends. The Kawasaki HQ is a really nice place, great museum and motorcycles in the atrium.
The engineers from Kawasaki Japan were fun and loved what we did with our bikes and took many pictures and asked why we did the things we did.
Nines and I blew them away with our amplified tunes, that was really funny!
And the rest is covered by the NDA we signed when we walked in the door.

So did you tell them the bike is like riding a furnace?

An NDA, just proves they don't want us to know that they know about the short falls of the bike and have done nothing about while rasing the price of the bike each year so the lawyers won't get involved because of the copyright that each of us have on the different things we have done that they would like to use on next years model because we know what they think we don't know. That said, I think that MR. Einstein is baiting us to raise the suspence.

If I remember right, Kawasaki had an East Coast meet and great out here last year. Although I wasn't able to make it, I am looking forward to another date for them to come back. It was held close to where I am, just can't remember right off the top of my head at the moment.
