2005 800 classic with windshield bracket. Got new aeromach 4" pull back risers, 40mm stainless steel socket head bolts came in the package but I think they are too short, I measured the triple tree plus windshield bracket and cable support guide underneath, and need about 25mm of bolt just to pass thru the triple tree and brackets to reach the riser threads, so bought a couple 12.8 grade non-stainless 45mm socket head bolts and a couple same in 50mm length, I think the aeromach risers inside threads bottom out at 27mm, which should I use with washer, the 45mm bolts or 50mm?

I got the aeromach risers installed on my 800, I used the parts store bought M10x1.5x50mm socket head bolts with a washer, 20mm thread of the bolt was exposed above the tree, that's with the windshield support bracket and cable guide brackets under the tree, the supplied 40mm aeromach bolts were too short, all worked out ok, yet to ride the bike and adjust the bar height, had to remove the front brake cable from its guide for a little slack on the brake line
