Hello,

Can any of you help me out on how to adjust the heel toe shifter to bring the front up an inch or inch and a half? At the base of the shifter where it connects to the motorcycle I see a couple of nuts on the heel and then the toe shifter. Do I remove those? I just upgraded from a 650 V-Star and there were youtube videos galore on how to do just about anything on that bike. On that bike you just loosened two nuts and spun a little rod but I do not see that on the Vulcan. There are NO how to videos for the vulcan for the most part. Thanks for any help!

Toe/heel shifters are on a spline. Loosen the bolts. Take shifter off reposition and the then retighten. I am not sure whether you will have to remove the floorboard or not to get to it on the 1600. If you do then you will need to reposition put back floorboard check and then tighten all down.

Very much appreciated

Thank you much for the reply!

You will have to remove the floorboard to get the shifters off the spline.
Make sure you take the screw all the way out before trying to take the shifters off. (Just loosening is not enough.)

Here's a site with lots of how-to stuff for the Vulcan:
