Added Harley style tour pack fairly easy modifications

Well I went ahead and installed a 2014 and up models king tour pack on my nomad. Fits nice. I used Harley brackets and a quick release hardware kit for Harley and it turned out nice. I can take it off in 5 seconds. However, I planned to use it. Here are some pics and a pic of bracketing and how I bolted bracket. First pic is before I mounted and before speakers added View attachment 250087 View attachment 250088 View attachment 250089 View attachment 250090 View attachment 250091 to fender.
I added the same trunk to my Nomad, I found a luggage mount from a Voyager and mounted it on that. It doesn't have the quick change capability, but it looks great on the bike.

HiTVulcan1700. Just wanted to welcome you to the forum from North Carolina. Happy to see you decided to join us.
I'm a Tarheel myself! Not living there at the moment! Saw the post about the trunk and decided to jump in the fray. These Vulcans are terrific bikes, I got rid of my Electra Glide Utra to get this one. Rides better, handles better and doesn't require as much in the unexpected maintenance side of it. The only thing the Harley had more of, was power, but at almost 60 power is not my main concern. Thanks for the greeting, great to be a part of this.

As did I get rid of my CVO Electra glide. I bought my Kaw and got a newer, better handling bike and it wasn’t a bit overpriced. So far I love it. I am working on putting a 2014 and up Harley style fairing with gauges, touchscreen radio. It’s pretty cool. I enjoy doing the mods.
I was lucky enough to get a new, leftover model from a dealer that was consolidating his 2 dealerships. The Harley was 15 years old, in great shape and ran well. I got a great deal and he sold the Harley in less than a week. So it worked for both of us. I'm happy, I've had it for 6 years, taken it from the East coast to the Midwest a couple of times and enjoyed every bit of it! Even a 6 hour downpour from Missouri to Oklahoma!

Where can I find a bracket from a voyager I've been thinking about putting a razor tour pack on my 05 nomad just haven't been able to find one
Where I found mine was on e-Bay. It was from a salvaged Voyager. You'll have to make sure it's for the proper run of years. My bike is a '14, the Voyager was from the same set of years that my frame was used. All I did was unbolt the sissy bar and its covers and then bolt the voyager trunk mount in its place. I had already pre-fit and mounted the tour pack. Now, I can remove the entire set up and put the sissy bar back on in about 1/2 an hour if I'm in a hurry. Worked great, without much extra modifications.
