I got the pleasure of going to the new OCC shop in Newburgh, NY. Seen a lot of the bikes that have been built on the show. The new shop seems to me to be not much more than an over-priced clothing store and some very high-priced bikes that are for sale, the cheapest i saw was nearly $40,000. Watching the bikes being built is a lot more interesting and to see the finished product. You can see the pix i took here http://s278.photobucket.com/albums/kk104/kjaxntn/

I live about an hour north of OCC and have seen it from I87 several times. I'll have to stop and check it out!:)

I agree, will never have a chance to own one, definitely (per the show) engine install and basics are pretty easy. Talent to do the different and they did do that.

They look to me like they'd be really uncomfortable to ride. I do know that Peter Fonda absolutely hated riding the chopper he had in Easy Rider (I got a pic of it at a V-Twin show here in Sacramento back in January). No suspension, no seat per say and bent over like a taco. Up... nice show bikes though...

cant you just see yourself paying 40 grand on a bike that you hate to ride, but it looks cool, you get to pull it behind you to all the shows and ride it when the sun is out.
