Hey guys, bought a 2010 vulcan custom special edition 900 a little over a month ago and have been absolutely loving it! Bike is incredible but as everyone before me has noticed she could a little bit more ponies to that back wheel so ill be going for the big 3 upgrades real soon

My questions are (and i know, search tool. Ive lurked this forum alooot and i cant seem to find anything relating)

1) i love the look of the Arlen Ness Big Sucker and apparently it works like a champ....but fitment for my bike is confusing as all living hell. Some sites say it will, some including ness's say it won't, but ive also seen forum members post pics of it on their 900.....are there specific models that will fit and if so does anyone have a part number or model?

2) i popped my plugs out yesterday and now my bike has this horrible exhaust rattle on deceleration and high rev rpms. I thought it was the exhaust plate/rivets but the sound persisted even after rivet and plate removal. Nothing shakes around when i shake the pipes, strictly on throttle release/rev drops....could this be afterburn? And would my fuel tuner fix this? Or is it just stock pipes trying to hard? Or maybe i sucked a plug in and it got stuck?

3) as far as Tuners go, the fi2000r seems to be favoured over the pciii due to the fact of an easier plug set and forget style rather than trying yo sift though old maps and hoping your aftermarket parts have been run, mapped, saved and shared. Without doing any crazy Altitude changes its not worth the extra dough for the autoregulating powrpro black is it? Ive also heard very mixed reviews on the black autotuner

Thanks for the read and responses in advance! Cheers ladies and gents

Well I ordered my fi2000r because it was the safest bet without dishing out 900+ for the black powrpro (comes in a day or two! Excited to play) and a K&N stock air filter to hold me off until i can figure out which air intake is gonna suit me best/fit my bike

Living in canada is super rough for parts, your 499 twin slash staggered become 1200 before I see them here :(

Anyone have experience with the LA choppers BAK? I'd still much prefer the Arlen Ness big sucker and the tech at my shop agrees its one of the best BAKs available. Anyone who has one on a vn900C could you by chance remember a part number?

not interested in Barons "big" air kit either. I was pretty underwhelmed at the look and filter size when I seen it in person

For much bigger performance gains, plus elimination of decel popping entirely, I'd recommend you take a look at having Ivan re-flash your ECU before you consider adding any aftermarket fuel tuner. Ivan's Performance Products

Oh snap it seems that brings it right up to around 70hp area which i always felt woulda been perfect for the vn900c

How hard is it to dismantle the ecu? And can anyone vouch for this upgrade/have it already and noticed improvements?!
