had an 01 nomad went with 12 1/2 in chubbys braided lines from good ridgeHas anyone replaced the stock bars with a higher rise? I would like to go bobber(ish) apehangers, but definitely nothing more than 12 inches....If so, how long were the throttle/brake cables that you needed to get to accomodate the higher bars?
Anything else you needed to do?! Thanks!
something like these: http://www.jpcycles.com/product/404-945
I will. and yes everything was run internally. I fell in love with the apes shortly after the install ( deciding on height I was told by long time rider of apes to close your eyes sitting on the bike and hold your arms out as if you were grabbing handlebars and find the most comfortable position) if you run everything internal make damn sure you put bullet connectors in so you can get back to the steering head bearing if need be. don't ask me how I knowIf you could check those notes and get back to me that would be awesome! Thanks! I am thinking even shorter than 12inches...Found a nice set of 10inchers drilled for internal wiring...Were you able to run everything internally?
Thanks!

9 and 10 over stock thats how you order them( what ever you want over what the originals are)Okay. When you say "10, 9 over" thats 10 and 9 inches, respectively, longer than stock?
Not sure what you mean by splitter?
Also not sure what you mean by "make damn sure you put bullet connectors in so you can get back to the steering head bearing if need be. don't ask me how I know"
Sorry for all the questions, but want to make sure its right before i hit the road! Thanks!
