I changed to the Philips Motovision bulb. It is brighter and whiter than the stock bulb and has a unique "orange" appearance during the day. I was looking for something better than stock without going led or with one of the really white halogen bulbs available. I am currently on my 2nd one with the first lasting about 22,000 miles. Putting my old oem back in reminded me why I liked the Motovision, which is why I went back to it.
Hey, Thanks for your responses
I tried a LED when I had my Yamaha 1300 V Star before I bought the Voyager and it was really bright close but it really didn't have the reach down the road. I don't remember what LED bulb I used.
I do currently have LED bulbs in my running lights and at night they are really bright close and wide field of view but I want something when I click on the high beam it really shows the road as far as possible. When you start getting old you need all the light you can get.
