The Japs were NOT our friends. This date, as FDR proclaimed, is a "date
that will live in infamy". Let us not forget the military and civilian personel that lost their lives as a result of the attack on Pearl Harbor, and of course the thousands and thousands that served in WW II.

It is ironic that foe has turned into friend, and that many of us are riding Jap skoots and enjoying the technology that they have been so important, and i might say successful in bringing to us.

It's hard to imagine what the world would look like if not for the efforts and sacrifices of the United States over the last one hundred years. However, once our current "leaders" achieve their goals of relegating this nation to third-world status we will surely get a glimpse. America's response to Pearl Harbor happened during your father's and grandfather's time. The travesty we face now happened during OUR watch! What are we doing about it?
Oh well, toss me a beer- American Idol is coming on right after the game!
