2into1 on a classic

I am shopping for a set of 2 into 1 for a 2010 classic.
Everything i find is for a nomad or vaquero. The brackets are different and i was wondering if anyone had made one and how much trouble it was to get right.
Thanks for your input

Just put on a set after christmas I had them ceramic coated inside and out
awsome sound, (on a 2014 vaq) it wouldn't very hard at all to fab a bracket. they came with a plate to mount to the bottom of your bag brackets very easy to add to or drill a few more holes.
looking forward to spring to hear these babies roar
Jimmyd1 I installed the V&H Pro Pipe on my classic. I made a bracket by using a cardboard cutout as a template and then transferred that to a piece of steel. Just be patient and take your time in laying out the template

Alan,
Thanks for the pic. That answered my question about the pipes being lower so I can get deeper bags on it. Other than the rumbling Ive missed I prefer the look of bags that aren't as stumpy as the stockers due to the "stack" of stock exhaust on one side. I'll post some pics once I finish the transition.I will be ordering the FP's this week. I'll start with bag questions soon.
Thanks again,
Jimmy D
I still need to lower my bags so they are flush with the top of the fender
Hi Alan;

I couldn't open the picture you attached. Would you please tell me the part number of the V&N pipes you bought and are they direct replacement for the stock Classic pipes and mufflers? Do the come with their own pipe shields as well?
Thanks

The link opened for me, he's referring to V&H pro pipe, its a full system all the back to the heads, no part # just call ss custom cycle in NY
discounted to 525.00 everywhere else is 599.00
WEG.

They are the Pro Pipe chrome for the Nomad/Voyager Product ID: 25313.

They come complete with heat shields and clamps.

The header portion replaces the OEM headers and the you need to make a bracket to hold the tailpiece.
Hi AlanM;

Thanks for the part number. I will look them up on the V&N website and take a look. What saddlebags do you have if any?

Hi Skullshaker;

Good information. Thanks!

I have the Tsukayu strong bags. http://www.tsukayu.com/Strong.htm But I am debating about getting the Tsukayu jumbo strong. http://www.tsukayu.com/JumboStrong.html
Hi again AlanM;

I was able to open your pic of the bike. Looks really nice! I see what you mean about lowering the bags a bit. Will give it a great bagger look.

Too bad Ma Kawa decided to stop making the Classic. A basic blacked out version like the new Indian Dark Horse might sell, at least to me!

WEG,

Thanks, I do like the bike. Shame Ma Kaw discountinued the model. In order to lower the bags I need to extend the mounting brackets
