Hi guys,
My 2010Nomad has recently developed an unusual problem within the digital readout panel on my fuel tank. I have begun to notice the clock will randomly be way off time meaning it will stop working without me even realizing it. I don't know if it happens when I stop for a break, or if it stops while riding. Also, my trip meters are resetting to zero, without me knowing. Again, I don't know if it's when I stop, or if it resets randomly while riding.
I have owned the bike for five years, and it has the original battery.
Could it be a battery issue? I don't see how. Or is the instrument panel dying on me?
Thanks for any advice, Eric

The clock and trip meter is resetting when you start the engine. Your battery is on its last legs and the voltage drops enough while cranking that the meter unit resets. First check your battery connections, but at 5 years you are due for a battery.
