Hey all,
Last June I purchased a 2010 Vulcan 900 Custom. Almost 3800 miles on the bike. Tires look like they are in great condition (no dry rot, cracking, ect...) I read that you shouldn't go more than 6-7 years without replacing tires, regardless of miles. I do store my bike in the winter on wood in a somewhat heated garage, to avoid moisture from the concrete.
Definitely wouldn't want a tire to fail on me, but is it good to say I can still get a year or two out of these tires?

I had the same bike (year and custom). The OE Dunlaps only went about 4600 miles. The next set was the Michelin commander 2s, I got almost 15000 miles out of them.
