Remove the OEM Backrest and the top case mounts in it's place. Not sure of the brand.

The passenger set locks the rider seat in place. So, I wouldn't suggest riding with only the solo front seat. Not sure if there's a solo seat option. You can remove the grab rail off, I've never done it though.

The ECM is marked. Ivan's will reflash for free for any future owners of the motorcycle, but you do have to pay the shipping. I asked Ivan when I had it flashed.

So there's no way to bolt down the drivers seat.
If the grab rail is removed can the backrest frame remain and a rack be added behind it ?

The bottom of the grab rail mount is part of a trim piece, not sure what it would look like if removed.
The key unlocks the rear seat. The rear seat holds the front in place.
