Good news, on the 2010 version of the 900 Custom there are NO grease fittings to break.:D

what about the classic? Are they gone completely or did they move them to the top side of the knuckle? And does anybody know if Kawi is gonna do a recall on the previous genius knuckle?

Not sure about the classic, but should be the same knuckle. On my 2010 SE Custom they are completely removed, only the flat spots where they would have drilled remain.

I didn't see any on top of the knuckle, but I'll take another good look today and let you know.

Well I have been under the bike and taken off all the covers around the shock/knuckle for a better look and no signs of any grease fittings on the knuckle (top/bottom/sides)....if someone can find one I'll give them a dollar.

You would think Kawa would possibly issue a recall for the ones with the fitting, but then again they could say it was just a new design and say it's not a design flaw but a result of customer input.
