Hello everyone- New to the forum also new to the custom. Recently purchased a 2009 custom brand new. Added Cobra Dragsters with baffles and a Cobra fi2000r. Stock intake remains in place for now as I'm out of cash. Question is; Does anyone have a similar set-up and if so what settings on the fi2000r are you using? Any input is appreciated, I'm scratching my bald head trying to get it right. Pic to come.

I would think a call to Cobra would be a good starting point and see what they say. I have the Cobra speedster longs with the fi2000 but mine was already on the bike when I got it. I just added the Barrons big air kit with no further adjustments needed.

I put on the cobra slashdowns without using the FI2000 with no issues. As long as you dont change the intake you should be fine. Just my experience

You might call Cobra and see if the setting the POTs to 0-0-0 is the same as the box being disconnected (I have a FI on my other bike - and that's how it works for THAT system.) As stated before - you "should" be able to run the slashdowns without needing the fuel integrator, but you may get crazy one day and decide to mod your air filter/intake....in which case you've already got the FI installed.

Can I ask why you think I should remove the fi?
No sense leaving it powered if it's not being used. Electronics don't last forever. The Fi can fail as long as it's plugged in so why have a failure in a piece of equipment that's not being used and can stop your ride. Increasing the complexity of an electronic circuit only increases the probability of failure and increases the time to fault isolate when there is a problem. One of the groups I manage is reliability engineering so I'm close to this stuff.

I just rechecked mine, I have the hypercharger with cobra dragsters and I have my FI2000 set at left to right 4-2-0. My bike has great power and sound and I have nothing but great things to say about this combo!
