2007 is it worth it?

Hey guys

Found a 2007 LT with mustang seats & I think Hard Krome exhausts, 8K+ miles on it & that's it for 10100$
Fired her up, waited till she warmed up but when I tried to hear that sound she instantly died. Tried again & she feels like needing some work (sparks or FI clean up I dk)
So is it worth that much?

No! WAY over priced. Got mine for $6K, low mileage isn't necessarily a good thing. It means it has been sitting alot and that isn't good for them if they weren't stored properly. Which it sounds like maybe this one wasn't.

Shop around, craigslist, ebay, local shops. You can get a much better deal.
If it doesn't run right it's not worth half that to me.
Bare Care has an 07, with 8.5K miles on it.. TONS and TONS of extra's.

For sale for 7.5K
What was the sound that you were looking to hear?
It takes a while to get an engine to operating temp with just idling... are you sure it was warmed up?

Sounds like maybe it might just be that it has an aftermarket exhaust but no fuel controller, so it could just be a bit lean, especially when cold. My Hammer does the same thing when cold, and it's also an 07. Bike runs beautifully when at operating temperature, you just can't be whacking the throttle when the engine is cold, because it kills just the same as this bike. This bike might not have any issues after all. In any case, $10k sounds like too much money for that bike.
Ya I knew that. But I was so blown away when seeing couple of V2Ks because where I live we don't have them. Kawasaki are a Rare breed. Also bikes are expensive here. The Suzuki Boulevard 800 goes for around 6800$ used & not new!

ah, to sing the praises of Capitalism! from the land of the Free and the home of the Brave.. but we are pissing that away as fast as you can say liberal lefty loon
Based on the rarity comment I had to figure out where Taif was?? Turns out it's Saudi Arabia, explains a lot with regards to price.

MaxVN, being that your handy with the ole video cam, try flicking the crew through a video of the bike with lots of close up etc, might be able to provide more input with the bike.

BTW, looks like a great place for bike riding.

Cheers Ando

Exactly! They only care about Suzis & Goldwings around here.
I bought my 9 for 11300$ new & I knew that it only costs 8K~ MSRP but what can one do.
I think it's pricy for its age even though I'd love to have me a clean V2K.
I'll stick to looking for a younger Voyager .. thanks

Mmmmmmmmm BOSS HOSS MMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I got cleaned up by one of these last year. Over took me doing ten to the ton, like I was standing still, nearly crapped meself as it roared past like a lion on steroids. Wondered wtf it was at first. Found it parked in town and had a chat with the owner. He loved it and hated it all at the same time. Many small faults that needed sorting for something that cost five or six times what a V2K cost but the look, sound and presence out weighed the cost and niggles.

Essssh Goldwings, man they'd be hot work in that climate with all that plastic work. Suzie's, yeah not bad.

Have ya thought about importing ya own V2K from Europe or USA???

And the triumph rocket 3...

It's just uglier than sin imo.

I had this same thought. Should be able to save a couple thousand.
