Hey guys. I haven't started my bike since about the middle of last winter. I'm getting it road ready for the summer and I've bumped into an issue.

I'm not the most mechanically inclined person nor do I claim to be, however I'm not completely useless.

She won't idle without the choke even when warm. She just slowly bogs down and dies.
During warm up if I close the choke and hit the throttle it bogs down and dies. There seems to be a general amount of throttle lag and then the motor shuts off.

What should I do? I'm not even sure where to begin with this.

Any help is apriciated.
Regards, Smitty

Well the air filter is part of my problem. It's more like a brick.
I adjusted my idle and it seems to run better. Currently pulling to much air in because I have no filter but I'm just waiting till pay day so that I can have money to do the oil and filter, replace the air filter and put some carb cleaner in the tank. I've also got to wait for the new tags to come in the mail.
