About to do my 15K mile maintenance, i know the valve clearance check is very important at this point. I plan on doing everything listed in the manual except for the swing arm and tie rod bearing lubrication. It is a fair amount of work I would rather put it off until winter.

Question how important is doing the suspension lubrication at 15K miles?

I don,t ride in the rain or on dirt roads, most roads are in good condition so the suspension in not working overly hard. I wash the bike fairly often (never with pressure washer). I plan on doing the suspension lubrication next winter 20K miles, when I will need to replace the rear tire etc.

When I did mine, there was some grease in the swing arm,tie rod, and steering stem bearings. you might be good for an other 5-7000 miles.

It did not look like the factory was over generous. Others have found almost no grease.
I left more than enough to feel good until 45000+ miles.
