My Vulcan is a 2005 model, 1500 Classic. It runs good cold, but after it warms up the engine begins to misfire through the exhaust and intake. Under light throttle everything seems normal. However, roll on the throttle and things change. This bike sat for some years and I noticed rust in the tank. I’ve had that cleaned and etched along with a new fuel pump. However that apparently wasn’t the problem.
Once it is good and warm, the engine will rise and fall spitting along the way. Starting is fine, idle is also. Place a load on the motor not so fine.
