Hello all. I haven't posted much on the forum but I've been an avid reader. I just completed a 1,603 mile trip through New England, Canada, and NYS. I wanted to share my thoughts of my low millage 2010 leftover Vulcan that i purchased in april of 2012 and only had 2k or so miles on it with everyone on here. I guess I will outline my trip first and then get to the review of the bike and my own riding style. I left yonkers ny and picked up my girlfriend in Yorktown and finished the day in RI. From there we headed to Salem mass and enjoyed the history and beauty of a great state. The next day we headed to Port Clyde, ME. Boy did it rain!! I found out that my 59 dollar over pants are not water proof, my 89 dollar jacket is, as well as my 80 buck boots. Oh, and those 16 dollar gloves, def not!! Other than being a little wet that leg was uneventful. Port Clyde is a small New England fishing and lobstering town and is full of great people, good food and a beautiful light house that is a must see. From there we left for Bar Harbor, ME and the beautiful Acadia national park. I must say this is the one place you need to visit if you ever head to New England! And make sure you take the ride to the top of Cadillac hill. From there we headed towards the white mountains and of course traveled to the top of Mt Washington!! From there we left for Stowe VT and just dodged a mighty hail storm. Off the the great white north and the beautiful and friendly, Old Montreal. We stayed at an early 1700's B and B and enjoyed the old city for two days. From the great white north to one of the most beautiful states that I have even been to, and I've been to 39 of them. My home state of NY. We ended up at lake George for Ameracade. Had a blast despite of the rain. Good people and good times. And then sadly because vacation and funds only go so far, back to the grand city of Yonkers, NY. Well, that's all for now because I'm tired..
